As we head towards the middle of November it is always a great season for music in Amsterdam with some of the great contemporary names in ska, jazz, indyrock and you-name-it rambling through town.

Friday

Wolfpin is a local band that plays classic rock in ways that leave the audience wishing for more. They may not be the most famous name on the list, but they're among the most talented. Maloe Melo, 11pm, 5€.

Saturday

The Aggrolites are among the top ska bands in the game today and we're fortunate that they happen to love Amsterdam. If you in need of dancing and uplifting sounds, look no further. Melkweg, 9pm, 16€ + membership.

Monday

It is hard to believe that My Morning Jacket has now been on the scene for over 10 years. One of most loved groups in the world of indyrock, they are sure to fill Paradiso on a monday night. 8:30pm start, tickets are a bit pricey at €32.50 + membership.
