Anyone out there heard of TED Talks? TED's motto is Ideas Worth Spreading, and it hosts fascinating people from all over the globe who are invited to speak about a whole variety of issues. For the third year in a row, Amsterdam has its own version. But it's incredibly popular - so popular, in fact, that it's impossible to get tickets. Impossible.

However - the American Book Center has come to the rescue! TEDxAmsterdam's theme is Human Nature and will be hosted by the Stadsschouwburg on November 25th, 2011. ABC will be streaming the event live at the ABC Amsterdam Treehouse. You don't need to make a reservation, but act quickly - seating is on a first-come, first served basis.
