This weekend, September 3-4, the Griftpark in Utrecht is playing host once again to the Utrechtse Fabriek, an outdoor market featuring handmade items from 55 small businesses. Along with the variety of handmade items, including clothing, toys, decorations and more, the event also features food and drink stands and workshops. This year, for €35 per person, you can take a bag-making workshop where you will learn to make one of two styles of bags, with your choice of fabrics and accessories. For info and to register, send an email to info@madutch.nl.
Entrance to the market itself is free, but do have cash on hand for any purchases. The market runs from 10:00-17:00 each day. For more information, including a list of all the exhibitors, visit the website (in Dutch).
