There are plenty of great resources out there if you're interested in learning Dutch, and we've mentioned some of them in the past here on Trippist. Today I wanted to highlight a blog I find particularly helpful in learning the Dutch language. It's called Dutch Word of the day (DWOTD) and it does an incredible job of explaining little known facts and nuances of the Dutch language. As they describe it,

It's true: Yes, you get a word almost every day, but you also get an explanation of how that word can be used in various sentences, and you get a background into its use. Anyone who has attempted to learn Dutch will tell you that this is absolutely necessary in reaching fluency! DWOTD have also started with weekly quizzes, so you can test your accumulating knowledge of the words they cover.
