The lesser known but highly recommendable Pitch Festival will be taking place in Westerpark on July 9 and 10. Pitch is a music festival with a very long list of musical acts on both days. The bands are international and I should point out that they aren't bigtime megastars but yes, some eurofamous acts.

Performances start at 1pm on both days and then on Saturday go on and on until the wee hours of the night. On Sunday, a school night of course, things wind down at 11pm. For all that music, tickets cost 32.50€ on Saturday and 27.50€ on Sunday. You can also do a 2 day ticket for 50€.
