Liberation Day in Utrecht

Today, May 5, is the day when the Netherlands celebrates Liberation Day to mark the end of the Nazi occupation during World War II. There are 14 official festivals going on around the country. If you're in Utrecht. head to Transwijk Park from 12:00 to 23:00 for all of the festivities. There will be stages set up around the park with music from both local and international performers. To make the point of the different forms of freedom, attendees can express their freedom to debate.
