Fingers crossed that yesterday wasn't the extent of our summer weather! Today might not be quite as pretty, but it also means you may be more interested in things to do indoors. Here's a quick roundup of a few things going on in Utrecht today (3 April).

This afternoon at Café de Stad (Lange Jufferstraat 58), there's Ska at the Stad, with some heavy tunes from the Two Tone Special(s), with DJs Mr. Moodisc & 2tone Tim. The event is free and runs from 15:00 to 20:00.

If poetry is your thing, head De Kargadoor (Oudegracht 36) for the Kargadoorslam. This is the official final of the Netherlands Championship Poetry Slam. The jury includes Pom Wolff, Peter le Nobel and Mike Platenkamp, and Gijs ter Haar will be presenting. The doors open at 13:00 and the poetry slam begins at 14:00. Entrance is free.

Of course, this is also Museum Weekend throughout the country, so if you're feeling so inclined, head to the Aboriginal Museum, Centraal Museum or the Catharijne Convent, among others, to see what they have on display.
