Tweetakt Festival

The Tweetakt festival is taking place again this week in Utrecht. Officially a festival celebrating youth theater, the festival is so much more than that. It's for all ages and has a variety of event to appeal to a broad range of ages and interests. The Festival Centrum is located at Neude square, but there are events taking place all over the city.

Tonight, 22 March, starting at 22:15, there will be a free concert at Neude, with performances by Joast, Roy Santiago, and That Band from Holland. Other things to see and do at the festival's main location include an interactive light installation in which you get to punch a punching bag to your heart's content, making the bag glow brighter and brighter with each punch. If you're feeling more surreal, check out the big screens at the square and experience Hand From Above, in which passersby may suddenly see themselves (on screen) being tickled, picked up, squashed, or flicked by a giant hand from above.

For the full listing of events and performances, check out the festival's website, which has information in both English and Dutch.
