Trippist readers, I'm about to introduce you to a fabulous blog about cycling. If you're not familiar with this website, now is the time to get acquainted! Amsterdamize is an amazing chronicle of the art of bicycling, with a particular focus on Amsterdam. His photos are breathtaking - both for the insight into Dutch culture and the way they capture a moment of the cyclist's life.

I want to bring your attention to one post in particular that I spotted last month. Entitled Veni, Vidi, Bici, it provides a comprehensive overview of the history of cycling in Amsterdam, not to mention every stat you could possibly think of (who bikes, how often, how far, how do people feel about cycling, how fast do people cycle, etc.). In this post Amsterdamize includes lots of shots from other photographers along with some of his own.
