A baby fair is coming to town! Doula Den Haag and Great Expectations.nl have teamed up to organize the First Baby Fair Den Haag. The goal of the fair is to provide a "one-stop information shop" for all those interested in pregnancy and baby-related culture in the Netherlands. At this fair parents and expectant parents can find out all they need to know about pregnancy, birth, and raising wee ones in the Netherlands.

Just to give some examples of who will be present: childbirth educators, yoga instructors, midwives, doulas, birth clinics, kraamzorg, lactation consultants, daycare centres, parent and baby groups and providers of complimentary therapies.

Throughout the day, participants are invited to enjoy English scones and Dutch coffee in the catering corner. Participants can also browse a selection of nearly new baby and children's clothes (proceeds of the sale will be donated to the Juliana Kinderziekenhuis).

Baby Fair Den Haag will be held at the Church Hall of St John and St Philip, located at Ary van der Spuyweg 1, 2585 JA The Hague. It takes place on Saturday 9 April 2011 from 9:30-13:00.
