What is to do done Exhibit

Running now through March 13 at the S.M.A.R.T. space in Amsterdam is a fantastic exhibit dedicated to political history and activism in Russia. The "What is to be done?" collective behind the exhibit has been called one of the most significant contemporary collectives of their generation, and if you see this exhibit, you'll understand why.

One of the great parts of the exhibit features statistics about Russia comparing the present with 10 years ago. The statistics are accompanied by paintings of animals that illustrate the change based on size. The bigger the statistic the bigger the animal. The numbers are both interesting and disturbing.

Other parts of the exhibit include audio-visual examples of traditional political activism and folklore. In the reading room there is also a selection of eclectic publications recommended by the collective. Members of the collective are also present to better handle questions and to say hello to!

Opening Hours, address, and further details all available on the SMART Project Space website.
