The first independently organized TED event to be held in Utrecht will take place April 4, with a theme of Building a Sustainable Future. Organized by the Sustainable Development masters program at Utrecht University, the event will encourage those in attendance and those watching online and at simulcast viewing parties to share ideas.
The event will feature 10 speakers from different backgrounds. Each one will speak about their ideas and experiences for a sustainable future, with each presentation lasting a maximum of 18 minutes each. The presentations will be mixed with relevant videos from the TED.com library.
Attendance is limited to 100 guest, who will come from a variety of backgrounds, including both students and non-students. Those wishing to attend must fill out an information form before March 7, but attendance is not guaranteed. If you are interested, the form for attendance is found at the program's website. If you are interested in hosting a simulcast of the event, further details and contact information is also found on the site.
