Book sale at De Waag in Leiden

I was wandering around in Leiden this morning. While passing De Waag, I noticed a sign outside: book sale! Selexyz in Leiden was holding a massive book sale with great clearance prices. I headed in.

Wow, did they have a lot on offer. It looked like they were trying to clear out a huge portion of their regular stock. Tables were labeled with every type of book imaginable, from children's books to political theory. Don't fear, expats - there were two tables of English language books.

I browsed the selection and choose two priced under five euros. When I paid, they gave me a free copy of Dutch poems by Remco Campert called Kus Zoekt Mond. Sure, why not? I'm always up for more Dutch practice.

The sale is being held today (Thursday), Friday and Saturday (3-5 February) at De Waag, located right next to the V&D on the Aalmarkt. Today's hours are 9:30-21:30, and on Friday and Saturday 9:30-18:00. Stop by and load up while the books are cheap and plentiful!
