This weekend, Bright Blue Gorilla is invading the Netherlands, particularly the Utrecht region. No, it's not a Technicolor remake of King Kong; it's the duo of Robyn Rosenkrantz and Michael Glover, musicians, actors, and filmmakers from Los Angeles. They've been performing music and creating their own films for 20 years, presenting their humorous projects around the world.

They're currently promoting their latest film, Lose With English, a funny look at the fitness craze in America, with some hitmen thrown in for good measure. Before the showing of the film, Bright Blue Gorilla perform a concert of their own music.

Friday, 12 November, the show is at Kersentuin in Utrecht at 20:30. Saturday, they're at Filmtheater Hilversum at 21:00. Sunday they're in Utrecht at Café de Stad for a matinée performance. The doors open at 14:00; the movie begins at 15:00, and the concert is at 17:00. The cost for the shows is €10. And in case you're wondering, the movie is in English.
