PopRonde, a music showcase featuring up-and-coming artists, is hitting Utrecht on Friday, 8 October. This touring showcase visits cities throughout the Netherlands with many more dates to come. The website has the full listing.

The PopRonde concerts take place in various clubs and cafés around the city, starting at 8 p.m. Ekko, Toque Toque and Kargadoor are some of the big spots around the Oudegracht, but there are also multiple shows at Café de Stad, Tilt and Café de Potdeksel over by Lucasbolwerk, so you can easily move from café to café to check out lots of acts without having to travel more than a few steps. Just as there are multiple locations, there are also multiple musical styles, including, pop, rock, dance, folk, indie and funk.
