For innovative and unusual theater presentations from the Netherlands and Flanders, head to Theater Kikker (Ganzenmarkt 14) tonight and tomorrow. Each night of the Najaarcollectie sees performances taking place in the two main theaters, as well as smaller, more unique performances taking place throughout the theater, sometimes in usual spots. Attendees can see the offerings on the main stage and then pick and choose/mix and match from the variety of performances, films and installations also on offer throughout the evening.

Tickets cost €15 online, with the doors opening at 19:00 and performances beginning at 20:00. Also on offer at the bar area of the theater, this week only, are cupcakes made by American Baking Company, based in Den Haag. I recently got to try some of these cupcakes, and I've got to say they're some of the best I've ever had, anywhere. They make real American cupcakes, in some real American flavors, including red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, lemon, and some peanut butter flavors (chocolate and peanut butter, and peanut butter and jam) that will have you craving more. I'm going to Theater Kikker this weekend for some of the interesting performances, but I'm probably going even more for the cupcakes.
