We all know I'm a sucker for news from the Amsterdam Zoo; Artis. Today they announced the birth of a male Tapir! Nakal is his name and mother and son are said to be doing just fine. The third son of Tapir Mom Aya and Tapir Father Dick, his birth is especially celebrated as all species of the Tapir are considered endangered species or at high risk of extinction.
