Leiden has lots of great options for dining out, but unfortunately until now has been pretty limited when it comes to Indian food. Luckily, a new option opened recently. It's called Everest Tandoori Restaurant, and I tried it out a couple weeks ago with some friends.

The food is good - not the best ever, but definitely worth trying. Beware - many of the dishes are very spicy! But be sure to try the Nan bread - absolutely delicious.

Everest Tandoori Restaurant is located in the center of Leiden, on Noordeinde 15. It's open seven days a week from 17.00 until 22.30. Check out their website for a full description of menu options.
