There's lots of nature to explore in Zeeland, which is what I did this weekend. I stayed with a group at the Recreatiepark Klaverweide and enjoyed lots of walking (in sunny weather!) and a beautiful trip to the beach.

Some parts of Zeeland can be difficult to reach by public transportation, but even where we were in Ellemeet there was a bus running every two hours. Lots of outdoor activities are possible and the area is popular with old and young.

Check the website of Klaverweide to see where they're located. It's only about an hour driving from Rotterdam, depending on traffic.
