On the second Wednesday of every month, U Rock! Café, located in the city center of Utrecht, hosts Livingroom 78, an intimate set of two performances. Singer-songwriters perform in the cozy lounge atmosphere, doing a little bit of this, a little bit of that, including pop, acoustic, Americana or electro.

October's offerings include a performance by Ryan Prebble, a talented performer from New Zealand. His memorable voice and blues-based percussive style of guitar playing will keep you captivated. A bit of funk, a bit of blues, a whole lot of talent. I admit, he's a personal favorite of mine and I'm thrilled that he's here in the Netherlands and playing some shows. He's also performing in Amsterdam this week, so try and grab a show somewhere.

He's playing in Amsterdam October 8 at Bitterzoet, October 10 at Winston Kingdom, and October 11 at Blijberg. The Livingroom 78 show in Utrecht is October 14 at U Rock! Café, located at Loeff Berchmakerstraat 10. Tickets are €5 and the doors open and the show starts at 8 p.m.
