This isn't any old circus; this is L'Homme Cirque with David Dimitri. This one-man high-wire, juggling, clown and music act will be taking place at the Griftpark in Utrecht, from September 3-9. Much of the performance will also be taking place 15 meters above ground! Tickets for the first shows have already sold out, so extra dates were added. If you're interested, book tickets now before they're completely gone.
The show isn't your standard children's spectacle. Presented by the Stadschouwburg, the city municipal theater, this evening program is paired with a show by Gefundenes Fressen, a unique, fast, sexy, circus cabaret performance that follows L'Homme Cirque. In addition to the performances, a special big-top tent will be on the grounds, with food, drink, music and smaller acts taking place. There is also a terrace for drinks and dining and a special summer menu.
The performances begin at 7:30 and are €15 for the individual shows or €25 for both. A late summer three-course menu is available for €19.50, or you can enjoy a la cart items. You can buy tickets at the theater box office or online.
