A new gallery has opened in Leiden. Known as De Pieter, or The Peter, it features a collection from ten Dutch artists. Works are included from such names as Marlies van Boekel, Eva de Visser, Baldwin Writer, Barthel Brussee, Hans Bos, Marjan Waanders, Peter acid, Michel Siebes, Charlotte Boschma and Christiaan van Tol.

Even better, during opening hours on Saturdays (from 12:00 to 17:00) and Sundays (from 13:00 to 17:00) an artist is always present in order to better explain the exhibited work.

The gallery is named after the nearby Pieterskerk and is located on the Lokhorstraat 21.
