After being asked by two gentlemen last night where to go to have a nice time in Rotterdam it made me think about informing more about the nightlife to be enjoyed and experienced in Rotterdam. If you want to experience something very dutch go to the Skihut; where there is lots of energy, old songs and new hits, live singing and typical music you hear after skiing according to regular dutch natives which is how it received its name. There are lucky individuals who are allowed to dance on the bar if they are celebrating their birthday, perhaps a bachelor party, or if you are randomly picked from the crowd. If you want to leave Rotterdam with a smile on your face, with the music still running through your body and an extra skip in your step then Skihut is where you should go. It is located on the Stadhuisplein in the center, but if you ask any local Rotterdammer they can lead you in the right direction. For a day like today, when the sun is shinning, Stadhuisplein is a popular choice for sitting at a terrace and sipping on a cold beverage.
