From film to music to art to discussions and so much more, Ladyfest Amsterdam is about to begin. Starting Thursday the 4th of September til Sunday the 7th, the community based, non-profit, political, musical and arts festival dedicated to gender equality will take place.

Most of the events will take place at Plantage Dok, with some exceptions. The festival is also offering a discount at Macbike rental places, so you can choose to ride from Central Station to the venues throughout the festival. I'll be there Saturday to watch presentations by several women's groups, as well as catch some documentaries and music.
