Tuk Tuk

The auto rickshaw, or Tuk Tuk, has come to The Netherlands. It’s been spotted in The Hague, Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Could this be the beginning of the end for Dutch cabs? Tuk Tuks are cheaper, fast, efficient – though still quite cold in the winter.

But now, in the summer, they’re wildly popular. So popular in fact that it’s impossible to reserve online, as is the norm. Next time you see one out and about, jump in. You’ll be pleasantly surprised with the cost, especially if you’re accustomed to taking Dutch taxis.
