I love FOAM - it always puts on interesting, diverse, worthwhile and small scale exhibits.
Until November 22, FOAM is showing an excellent photograph collection of the Totomboti foundation members - 5 Rastafarians from the Pikienslee village in Suriname. Taken by photographer YamandĂș Roos, these local artists create "functional art with wood and teach the villagers to use natural resources in sustainable ways." They are also beautiful.
Find FOAM at Keizersgracht 609 and is open every day of the week, but hours vary, so check the website for further details.
