Nose Art

Being that Belgium just had their elections, I browsed over to "De Brakke Grond", the Flemish cultural center in Amsterdam. (Flemish being the northern Dutch speaking Belgians, for those who were never taught such things)

Talk about fun, they just opened an exhibition of smells! Yes.. art for your nose. It is called "Air Polluter" by the artist Peter De Cupere. The installation allows the visitor to decide how they pollute the air; dividing smell fields between good and bad smells.

It sounds strangely unique, so what better time to walk over to the Flemish Cultural Center and smell what it's all about. (short walk from Dam Square along the Rokin to NES 45)
