No plans for tomorrow night? How about a birthday party?

Wicked Jazz Sounds, the party that unites jazz, funk, old-school hip hop, drum-n-bass and more into a "futuristic journey", is 5 years old this Saturday. No less than 30 artists will take over all three floors of established venue Paradiso (Weteringschans 6-8), one of the most popular locations in Amsterdam. Usually, you might find Wicked Jazz Sounds at Sugar Factory on Sunday nights, but Paradiso will be a better spot for this big event!

Costing 15 euro plus membership, the party doesn't start till midnight, as earlier in the night are selections from the Amsterdam Roots Festival. A tip: sometimes if you go to a concert in the early evening at Paradiso, you can 'hang around' until the later party starts, without paying twice. Hope to see you there!
